We are a private practice behavioral health office providing mental health services
We provide mental health services for all immigrant populations, including African immigrants and people of color in Shoreline, King County, Washington.
At Charmd, we are not too busy to care. We recognize that it takes time to cultivate deep, long-lasting relationships and to develop new positive habits. It requires creating goals that are enriching and fostering personal development to reach your highest potential.
Has stress, anxiety, a hectic lifestyle, prevented you from being considerate, peace-loving, or merciful in life? In your relationships?
We believe that every individual deserves the help to develop a strong base for their lives and their relationships. We seek to serve the behavioral health needs of our community and the needs of those who often face challenges in accessing quality mental healthcare.

Meet The Counselor
SUCHIKA SIOTIA: MSC, MHP, LMHCA (#MC61040194)
Imagine waking up every morning feeling like you can take on the world. How great would that feel? I opened the doors of my practice to clients in the Seattle area — offering them a wide range of counselling services to guide them through life’s challenges, and during the most trying times.
I am Suchika Siotia, Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of WA. I am originally from India, moved to Seattle in 2019. I have 4+ years of clinical experience and I have worked with clients across developmental ages with variety of mental health concerns.
My aim while working with Charmd Behavioral & Health is to help the immigrant youth, families, adults, and couples including people of color to cope with emotional, behavioral, and interpersonal challenges by employing evidence-based practices that are shown by research to result in positive long-term outcomes.
In my therapeutic modality, I use an eclectic approach whereby I implement the techniques of the third-wave therapy like Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness. Coming from a diverse country, I understand the importance of culture in mental health and aim to provide services that align with my client’s background.
I work in collaboration with my clients to provide them with tailored therapy.
Life can get difficult, and sometimes some help from a professional can make things better. I care about your well-being and will provide you all the tools you need to seize the day and achieve your fullest potential.

That, and other life experiences, served as a catalyst to seek a career in the field of psychology. Daisy obtained her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in psychology from Seattle University in 2007 and 2010 respectively. In addition, Daisy is pursuing a doctorate degree in clinical psychology as well.
Daisy has been working with various populations in behavioral health for over a decade in the Greater Seattle Area. In the State of Washington, she has experience working with children, at-risk youth, adults, couples and families who received primary care services.
In the past 5 years, Daisy has primarily worked as an Mental Health Professional, a Child-Focused and School Based Clinician for a local community behavioral health clinic in South Seattle.
In regards to therapeutic modalities, Daisy utilizes an integrative, collaborative approach to therapy with an emphasis on mindfulness and helping people make sense of their lived experiences. She believes in encompassing all aspects of an individual when developing treatment plans and solutions with clients.
She integrates culturally sound recommendations for parenting and other services that she provides taking into account the various circumstances and challenges presented to under-served communities including immigrants, people of color and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual Transgender (LBGT) populations. She enjoys working with nurse practitioners, physicians, psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that clients are receiving integrated services for overall health.
Daisy is passionate about supporting those who find it difficult dealing with life's challenges which may include feelings of anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions and the complexities around sexual orientation.
One of her professional goals is to provide a safe space for those who may be rendered voiceless, face institutionalized oppression or other barriers in society due to no fault of their own.
More than anything, she looks forward to working with clients and offering quality mental health wellness. She is excited to be joining the Charmd Behavioral Health team as a Mental Health Clinician.

My skill set includes therapy techniques such as Life Span integration, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-centered therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy and Faith-Based approaches.
I believe that each client's situation is unique. As I work with clients, I adjust counseling approaches in ways that fit my clients unique circumstances.
I utilize treatment techniques drawn from various therapy models to help meet their needs. Often times, I find the source to my clients' problems being related to their negative childhood experiences. Hence, in my meetings with them, I work to heal the trauma in order to change its impact in their present life.
Having been married for more than two decades and being a parent of two, I have experienced the ups and downs of marital relationship and the challenges of raising a family. My work in the social services, as well as personal life experience, have given me a passion for people facing the challenges of life that I've found to be foundational to a good therapeutic practice.
I love spending time with my children, and my extended family. I love music, traveling, watching good movies and enjoying nature. My faith is a great part of my life. I enjoy Christian fellowship and love participating in different church related activities.
